Banes began business in 1946 as a Design-Build Firm and was one of the first General Contractor / Engineering Firms to provide turnkey Design-Build and Construction Management Services. Today, Banes General Contractors, Inc. is the oldest and one of the largest General Contractors in the southwest.
Banes’ projects are located throughout the southwest in Texas, New Mexico and Arizona. Banes’ client list includes private industry, public schools, higher education, federal, state and local governments.
Typical Banes’ projects include educational facilities for school districts, community colleges and universities, student housing, commercial buildings, medical facilities, shopping centers and other retail facilities, apartment communities, hotels, convention centers and entertainment facilities, parking garages, sports arenas, aircraft hangers, prison and detention facilities, manufacturing, industrial, mining, heavy structures, rail and transportation.
